Wired or wireless: which one?

Wired CarPlay means plugging in a USB cable for every journey. It charges the phone and costs less.

Wireless connects automatically as soon as you start the car, via Bluetooth then Wi-Fi. More convenient day to day, especially on short trips, but the phone doesn't charge on its own.

We install both. For daily commuting, wireless quickly pays for itself in comfort.

Is your vehicle compatible?

In the vast majority of cases, yes — even on an older vehicle or one without an original screen. What changes from one model to another is the fascia adapter, the wiring harness and the steering wheel control interface.

We check this before selling you anything. Send us the make, model, year and a photo of your current head unit: we'll confirm what is and isn't possible.

Which screen size?

Screens come in 7, 9, 10 inches and beyond. The choice depends on the space actually available in your console, not just your preferences. A screen that's too big sticks out and hides the air vents or the climate controls.

We measure and recommend the size that fits cleanly — the result should look factory-fitted.

Premium vehicles and dual-screen setups

On some premium vehicles, the central screen isn't alone: the instrument cluster is digital too. For these cars we install two-panel sets — console and cluster — designed to work together, with CarPlay available on both and an interior that stays consistent.

We do this in particular on the Porsche Macan and several Mercedes models. Availability depends on the model and year: send us yours and a photo of your console, and we'll confirm what exists and the price, parts and fitting included.

In every case, we fit recent hardware: latest-generation processors, enough memory to stay smooth over time, and software that still receives updates. That's what separates a screen you keep from a screen you replace a year later.
